Which edition is cheapest for you?
Each total is what you'd pay us over the period: the one-time price, plus the sweep fee on every payment you take. The fee is deducted automatically when funds move to your cold wallet.
All editions are one-time purchases with a year of updates. They keep working after that, with security fixes free. Network gas for sweeps is paid on every edition and isn't included.
Questions
What is the sweep fee?
When funds are swept from deposit addresses to your cold wallet, the Free and Standard editions send a share (2% or 1%) to Coldtill in the same on-chain transaction. Pro sends nothing. The rate is fixed in each deposit wallet when it's created, so the dashboard always shows which rate applies.
Which edition is cheapest for me?
Standard costs $499 plus 1% of what you sweep; Pro costs $999 and nothing after. Pro works out cheaper once you sweep more than about $50,000 in total. Use the calculator above with your own numbers.
Do I need to apply, or pass KYB?
No. Coldtill is software you run on your own server, so there's no application, no identity check and nobody who has to approve your business. Buying Standard or Pro only needs an email address and a crypto payment. You're still responsible for the laws that apply where you sell.
Can customers pay with coins I don't support directly?
Yes, with auto-convert. Through NEAR Intents, customers can pay with 200+ tokens on 35+ chains (Bitcoin, XRP, TON, Sui, Cardano, Zcash and more), and you receive USDC or USDT in your cold wallet. Coldtill credits the order only when your own nodes see the stablecoin arrive. It's on every edition, off by default, and mainnet only.
What happens if coldtill.com goes offline?
Your server keeps taking payments. There's no licence server and no kill switch: the only time Coldtill contacts us is a daily update check, which you can turn off. Funds go to your cold wallet either way.
Do you ever hold my funds?
No. Customers pay into deposit addresses that can only send to the cold wallet you set, and Coldtill runs on your server. We never see your keys, your customers or your payments.
What happens after the year of updates?
Your version keeps working forever. You keep access to every release published during your year, and security fixes are always free, whenever they're published.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Pro?
Yes. You pay the difference, $500, and get a fresh year of updates. Existing deposit wallets keep the fee they were created with, because it's fixed on chain; new wallets use Pro's 0%.
How do I pay?
With crypto, through Coldtill itself at pay.coldtill.com. Your downloads unlock as soon as the payment confirms.
What do I need to run it?
A Linux server with Docker: 2 vCPU and 4 GB of memory is plenty, on amd64 or arm64. A small VPS from Hetzner, DigitalOcean or similar works well. See the self-hosting guide.
Can I share or resell a copy?
No. A purchase covers your own business and the servers you run for it. See the EULA.
